I think I’ve found a winner.

Recently, the boys in Boondocks have been scheming to find a mate for Condoleeza Rice, on the theory that if she had someone to love, she wouldn’t be so hell-bent on destroying the world. Unfortunately, their website doesn’t provide free access to strips older than 14 days, which puts the Condi personal ad episodes on the verge of oblivion, so I won’t bother linking directly to them. But if you’re reading this soon after it was posted, try the Boondocks calendar links for the first few days of November and see what you can find.

If you’re too late to find those strips, too bad. You should have been reading Boondocks regularly; I’ve told you that before; it’s on my list of favorite comics, and enough of you have followed that link to push it into the Top Ten (at least it was when I wrote this).

So it suddenly struck me that Condoleeza Rice and Congressman Kucinich need to hook up. Surely a 57-year-old vegan who lived in a car for part of his childhood would be interested in a “vibrant, sultry, 22-year-old” (the Boondocks Boys acknowledged that their ad may have been subject to “intelligence failures”) who’s into domination and has an oil tanker named after her. And the name Condi Kucinich is kinda catchy. Or, in a ploy for the female vote, he could take her name, and save money on bumper-sticker printing costs.

One friend that I suggested this to pointed out that it was no more unthinkable than the Carville-Matalin match. I just can’t figure out whether the next step is to generate a response from Dennis to Condi’s personal ad, or to get her entered into the First Lady competition.

In a recent forum, my favorite presidential candidate, Dennis Kucinich, jokingly discussed his marital status (or lack thereof) and his Fantasy First Lady: “a dynamic, out-spoken woman who was fearless in her desire for peace in the world and for universal single-payer health care and a full employment economy.” In an attempt to prevent the… Continue reading Perfect Match?

{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[4

post-278","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-politics","entry
["GET
