I just got some wonderful email from AT&T, which is apparently still my long-distance provider. I’d actually forgotten that.
\nI haven’t made an interstate phone call in so long that I don’t remember getting a bill from anybody.
\nThey offer an interesting way to show people I care about them this holiday season:<\/p>\n

Plus, every time you send a card, the recipient can receive up to 90 minutes of free AT&T residential long distance calling when they sign up for AT&T Online Billing<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The old days of encouraging me to “reach out and touch” via long distance was a little corny, but this is beyond corny.
\nInstead of calling, I should send them an “e-card” which apparently contains an advertisement to sign up for AT&T service,
\nand probably gets their email address on an AT&T list for more spam. I can’t think of a better way to say “I love you.” I wonder if Hallmark feels threatened.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
