For some more thought-provoking political humor, a friend sent me this cartoon about the exploitaition of the 9/11/2001 tragedy to accomplish all kinds of political goals.
It’s amazing what kinds of stuff has been railroaded through in packages like the USA Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Bill.
Combined with the plans to privatize much of the federal government, this adds up to a huge financial windfall for the corporate donors to the GOP who will now be richly rewarded, at great cost to the rest of us.
