Sponsors of Terrorism

Another interesting twist in the Global War on Terrorism. Iraq’s biological weapons program, which is one of W’s excuses for bombing him (and lots of innocent civilians), got its start with considerable assistance from good old Uncle Sam. And it happened in the 80s, when Ronnie and Daddy were running the country, so we can’t… Continue reading Sponsors of Terrorism

"Non-Lethal" Weapons

Aside from the fact that the name is somewhat of a misnomer, this kind of research and development looks like another great reason to annihilate Iraq … except that it ain’t Iraq that’s working on it. Pot, meet kettle.

Still More March News

Reports about the Countryside March are still trickling in. Somebody passed along a link to a Sun article that had some interesting coverage .. and lack of coverage. Not quite Camilla, but close.

For those who don’t share my interest in foxhunting, and therefore may be unaware of this issue, the British government is considering a ban on hunting with hounds, and those whose liberty… Continue reading Liberty and Livelihood

Sex, Lies, and Politics

The biggest news statewide is, of course, our governor’s embarrassing predicament. For those in more distant locations (or living under a rock), Gov. Paul Patton is following in the footsteps of fellow Democrat, former Pres. Bill Clinton. He’s been sued by a woman claiming he had state regulators shut down her nursing home in retaliation… Continue reading Sex, Lies, and Politics
